About me

Artist and Creative Art Teacher

i'm tanya freedman

Since I was eleven years old I have been an avid artist and creator. I love travelling to experience new things and be inspired by creativity in everything and everyone around me. Since my early twenties I exhibited in various galleries in England and then later, in Ontario. In 2000 I started teaching art to children and those with special needs, and helped many students discover their latent talents. My biggest joy is seeing the artist's expression and the sense of accomplishment at the work they have produced. Now, by popular demand I'm offering more classes online, to help people -- young and young at heart -- discover or cultivate their creativity in their own homes. Within this new (and still a work in progress!) website you will find information about art classes and camps your artists may love joining. You will also see some of my art work, and get inspired by the many resources I will share over the next few weeks.
